Ex-Man City keeper James talks up Luton No1 Kaminski

David James, a former custodian for Manchester City and Liverpool, has discussed the role’s significance for Luton Town this year.

James, an England player as well, thinks Town’s top player Thomas Kaminski can keep them competitive in the Premier League.

After being promoted in the summer, Luton has had difficulty producing results.

James stated, “I like what I see with Kaminski,” in an interview with the Athletic.

With the correct guidance, his skill as a goalie may potentially mean the difference between Luton’s relegation and promotion.

“Despite his excellent play, he has been giving up goals, which has left him with very little hope.

“He’s made some incredible saves, and I hope he maintains his positive attitude because it’s so easy to lose that after previous relegation battles.”
