Prior to the contest at Kenilworth Road, Luton Town manager Rob Edwards makes an allegation about Burnley.

, the manager of Luton Town, claims that Burnley is in a “false position” in the Premier League standings.

Tomorrow night, the Clarets travel to Kenilworth Road in search of their first league victory of the year.

Vincent Kompany’s team has one point after six games, five of which came against teams currently occupying the top half of the standings.

Edwards, who last season ended two spots behind Burnley in the Championship, is aware of how difficult Tuesday night’s rescheduled game will be.

“Let me tell you, they are a very good team,” he remarked.

They have played City, United, Villa, Spurs, and Newcastle so far this season, which is promising. In their 60% possession battle with Manchester United.

“They’ve improved since last season. Last year they dominated the league, were the best team by a country mile. They’ve spent a reported £100 million and in Vincent Kompany they have a brilliant manager.

They are positioned incorrectly.

When Luton defeated Sean Dyche’s Everton at the weekend, they were able to extricate themselves from their predicament.

After seven games, Edwards had four points and was confident that the first triumph would soon come.

It wasn’t a burden lifted off of us, he remarked; it had been expected due of the strong results.
