Leeds forward has completed medical to join Manchester City’

15 year old Leeds United talent Finlay Gorman has passed his medical at Manchester City.

Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that teenage Leeds sensation will join Man City next month after passing his medical.

Gorman is an offensive midfielder who produces well. In September, at the age of 15, he was promoted to Leeds’ Under-18s team.

The Englishman has played five games for Leeds and has already provided three goals. Gorman is a specialist in the final third of the field, and his game is built around creating chances.

The Premier League champions have been watching Gorman for some time and have finally agreed on a deal. The transfer cost is expected to be in the seven figures.

He once scored twice in a Premier League Under-18 match, becoming the youngest player to do so. He was only 14 years old and 326 days.

Because he is still on schoolboy terms with Leeds, the teenager is ineligible for a professional deal. In September 2025, at the age of 17, he will be able to sign his first professional contract.

Manchester City’s academy manager Thomas Kruecken and top youth scout Sam Fagbemi are credited for making the transaction.

The deal is a setback for Leeds United, but receiving a British record fee for a player his age is solid business.

It remains to be seen whether there are any add-ons to the arrangement that will assist Leeds with bonuses in the coming years.
