Massive looming for promotion-chasing Mansfield Town*

Coach Andy Garner of Mansfield Town’s first team stated that the team was in excellent spirits ahead of an exciting Easter weekend and that results, not performances, were now what mattered. The team now atop the league.
After losing 1-1 to Colchester United at home last weekend, the Stags will play a live, nationally broadcast match at home against third-place rivals Wrexham on Good Friday, then on Easter Monday, they will play Accrington Stanley at the One Call Stadium.

“All we can do is bring that experience to the players and keep them as level-headed and calm as we possibly can,” stated Garner, who has previously enjoyed promotions with manager Nigel Clough. With just seven games remaining, the Stags are six points clear of fourth-placed MK Dons in the automatic promotion spots.

“At teams like Burton, we have been there and done that.

We enjoy ourselves throughout training, but we also put in a lot of hard effort. Both the players and ourselves are aware of what needs to be done.Right now, it’s all about obtaining three points. Even while we strive to perform well each week, there are moments when you can overlook the show.
He went on: In good spirits, we head to Wrexham. Right now, we’re leading the league and performing well. We’re excited about the game, and we’ll let the gamers know that.

“We are at the top for a reason; we are a strong team, and I hope the Wrexham match delivers.” Let’s head out and check our inventory.

With just seven games remaining in the season, we have only lost six games, which is an amazing record.

“We have started the season well, and we must continue that way for the following seven games. It will be determined by bravery, excellence, and character.

“We will be on the front foot and keep playing our stuff,” he continued. We’re hoping for slightly better conditions this weekend and a slightly better pitch for Wrexham than we had last Saturday.

We’re eagerly anticipating it. You have to look forward to matches like the one at Wrexham; we’re the best team in the league, so let’s go after them with a full house and strong support.

“Both teams will put up every effort to win the match at this important stage of the season and, if we can’t win it, then don’t lose it. That will be our message.
