Melbourne Victory resigns midfielder after impressive performance

Melbourne Victory is pleased to announce that French midfielder, Zinedine Machach has re-signed with the Club for a further two seasons.

In his first season at Victory, the 28-year-old has made 22 A-League Men’s games this season, tallying three assists and six goals.

Machach has established himself as a fan favourite among the Victory supporters thanks to his ability to finish strong and with strength when he is on the ball.

John Didulica, the director of football for the Melbourne Victory, expressed his excitement about “Zizou” staying on the team longer.

Didulica remarked, “We’re excited to have Zinedine committed to Melbourne Victory for a further two seasons.”

“Zizou has proved on the field that he is a game-winning player and has approached his time in Australia with an example-like demeanour since joining the Club.

He was given this extension at the Club because of his efforts both on and off the pitch, and we’re forward to see what he can accomplish in the upcoming campaigns.

Machach was thrilled to be going on his adventure at Victory as well.

“I’ve had a great time in Australia, and I’m eager to continue my journey at Melbourne Victory,” Machach remarked.

“As a football player and a person, the Club has brought out the best in me, and the Victory environment inspires me every day.

“The Melbourne crowd has been amazing. They have given me their love and support despite my distance from them, and I want to make sure I live up to their expectations over the following months.
