The 26-year-old, who recently signed a new contract, is no longer a member of the Forest squad, and according to The Sun, Middlesbrough manager Michael Carrick is interested in a loan deal for him. If Middlesbrough is promoted, that loan could even become permanent.
The newspaper adds that Iliman Ndiaye, a recent departure, may be signed back by Sheffield United. The 23-year-old forward has had difficulty finding consistent playing time since leaving for Marseille in the summer. The Sun United claims that Arsenal and Everton are monitoring Ndiaye’s condition.
