An extensive emergency services response was prompted in Middleton when a car struck some parked cars. At approximately 7:00 p.m., emergency personnel including police, firemen, and ambulances flocked to Grimshaw Lane following reports of a car striking several parked cars.
Among those who arrived were two fire engines and four police cars. Paramedics attended to a woman, whose injuries were described as “minor.”
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) was called to reports of a traffic collision, but no one was seriously hurt, according to a spokeswoman for the agency.
“Fire crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Grimshaw Lane, Middleton at around 7pm on Friday, July 26,” a Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) spokesman stated.
“One fire engine from Chadderton station was quickly mobilised to the incident, which involved a car colliding with parked vehicles. North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) attended to treat a woman for minor injuries. Before turning the scene over to Greater Manchester Police (GMP), fire crews assisted in making the area safe.”
