The confidence of Morecambe’s supporters has verified the timing of a protest about the club’s ownership status.
The Shrimps Trust announced last month that it will “explore an opportunity” for a formal march, given that the club has been up for sale since September 2022.
The Trust announced on Friday afternoon that the march would occur on the day Wrexham visits the Mazuma Mobile Stadium, which is four weeks from now.
The Shrimps Trust Board of Trustees representatives met with a representative from Lancashire Police last week to discuss the scheduled demonstration prior of the Wrexham game on March 9. The meeting was very good, according to a statement released by the Trust.
