After winning at home for the first time as Morecambe manager since replacing Derek Adams, Ged Brannan expressed his relief.
The Shrimps defeated Sutton United 1-0 on Saturday, marking Brannan’s first triumph at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium in seven games.
With tonight’s travel to Tranmere Rovers, the first of three straight away games for Morecambe, Brannan is hoping that his team’s success last weekend will ease some of the strain.
