Giants quarterback Daniel Jones is reportedly free to participate in all practice repetitions on Wednesday, according to reports, which head coach Brian Daboll revealed.
Jones is expected to start on the roster against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday after receiving the all-clear to play.
He suffered a neck injury in a Week 5 game against the Dolphins, and since then, he has missed the last three games. This was on October 6.
He was classified as a limited participant two weeks ago, but team doctors have now finally given him permission to contact, enabling him to practice completely on Wednesday.
Brian Daboll, the head coach, told the reporters
“He’s been throwing out here, so this week he’ll have his full workload. Once he’s cleared, he can go.” Though I believe he is ready to depart, I’m sure he could if necessary.
Jones added on Wednesday through the team website’s Matt Citak.
“Last week, I was making progress. I had confidence in my direction of travel. Before the game on Sunday, I had no idea how exactly things would work out, but I felt okay. I believed that I was making good progress.
He went on,
“I’m thrilled. I’m eager to get back into the swing of things and spend this week getting ready for the game. Yes, I’m happy to be back. I feel content. I feel better now. I used the few weeks I didn’t play here to keep myself in condition. nevertheless, happy to be back.
Jones’s arrival coincided with backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor’s hasty admission to Hackensack Medical Centre due to a rib cage injury.
