The most recent computer-generated pictures of New York City FC’s amazing new stadium in Queens, New York, have been made public.

NYFC intends to construct a permanent home stadium at Willets Point in Flushing, which is situated across Citi Field, the home field of the New York Mets.

The privately funded stadium, which has 25,000 seats, is anticipated to cost about $780 million and be constructed specifically for soccer.

Pictures of the proposed stadium depict a sleek, contemporary, and minimalist structure with accents of the team’s distinctive blue surrounding the entrance and signage. The building is mostly constructed in black and white.

Additionally, it looks that the final name of the stadium will be shown along the top in addition to the customary locations down the side, where it would be visible when planes land and take off at the adjacent LaGuardia Airport.

NYFC sent out the stadium update along with the newly released in an email to fans on Monday.

‘We hope this note finds you well. We wanted to share some truly exciting news about our stadium project,’ the message began.

‘After many positive meetings with Queens Community Board 7, local stakeholders and residents, elected officials, labor unions and more, we’re excited to inform you that today, our stadium project, alongside the entire second phase of the Willets Point development, has officially entered the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP) approval process, bringing us one HUGE step closer to seeing our dream realized of building a permanent home for NYCFC!’

‘As a reminder, ULURP is the process that proposed development projects in New York City go through that engages the local community and grants approval to begin construction. The ULURP process is time-restricted, meaning the entire approval process is designed to take no longer than 7 months.’

‘Today, the Department of City Planning presented our project to the City Planning Commission at a CPC review session. During the meeting, the presenters shared some updated images of our proposed stadium project that we’re equally excited to share with you as well.’

The stadium would also be only a stone’s throw away from Arthur Ashe Stadium, where the US Open is played.
