Newcastle United interested in signing £37m-rated Chelsea loanee

Newcastle United is considering a move to sign Romelu Lukaku, a Chelsea loanee.

Romelu Lukaku, who is currently on loan from Chelsea and is at AS Roma, is currently being pursued by Newcastle United. The Magpies hope to give Alexander Isak and Callum Wilson some competition.

The striker is the ideal addition to the Tyneside’s attack, according to Belgian publication Voetbalkrant (via Football. London), following Lukaku’s spectacular nine goals in fifteen games for Roma.

Due to their epidemic of injuries, Newcastle will need to find more forwards for the upcoming campaign. But Roma is also eager to keep the Belgian striker after his loan period ends.

Romelu Lukaku leads AS Roma in goals scored so far this year with eight.
After making it apparent that he didn’t want to stay at Chelsea, Lukaku may finally be let go by the Blues as a result. Despite the fact that his current play at Roma has the team questioning why, given their goal-scoring struggles, they didn’t use the 30-year-old, his problems appeared to be more off the pitch.

Lukaku and the Blues have already come to an agreement regarding his departure, provided they receive £37 million from his departure. By the end of this season, he could draw in more suitors if he keeps up his current performance.

However, the Blues are in the market for a new striker and may make a move for him.

As a result, Chelsea will have more chances to sell Lukaku, and the Blues will benefit monetarily from his departure. If he continues to play well through the end of the season, more clubs may find him valuable. Newcastle has signed top players and made large financial investments since their ownership changed. Their recent injury problems may force them to make a large player investment once more.

Chelsea will be happy to let the 30-year-old go after failing to find a permanent home for him. It will be more difficult for the Blues to let him go, so hopefully he doesn’t perform worse.
