Emile Smith Rowe, an Arsenal midfielder, is a target for Newcastle United.
It is unclear if the Gunners will be able to hang onto the 23-year-old midfield player until the end of the season, according to a report from the Mirror. The midfielder is reportedly a target for the Premier League team ahead of the January transfer window.
Since his injury comeback, the 23-year-old has had difficulty getting into the starting lineup, and in order to reach his full ability, he must play more frequently. Prior to his injury setback, Smith Rowe was considered one of the league’s top young midfield players, and he will be looking to reach that level once more.
As offensive midfielders, Arsenal already has players like Martin Odegaard and Fabio Vieira at their disposal. If Smith Rowe remains at the London club, he will have trouble getting into games.
Moving to Newcastle could be the best option for him. The Magpies’ midfield could definitely use more inventiveness and goals.
Smith Rowe would be a great addition to them, and St. James’ Park football on a daily basis would bring out the best in him.
The chance to play for Newcastle, who are participating in the UEFA Champions League this season, will appeal to the player.
In the upcoming months, Eddie Howe might assist him in regaining his confidence and sharpness. If Newcastle can complete the transfer, the Arsenal player, who is adaptable enough to play as a winger, may prove to be a long-term asset.
