Graham Coughlan, the manager of Newport, is a nominee for the January League Two Manager of the Month award.
Newport Gaffer Due to the Exiles’ recent success, Graham Coughlan has been nominated for League Two Manager of the Month.
Newport County has won three straight games while conceding just one goal, and they are currently on a six-game league winning streak.
The Exiles have performed well not only in the league but also in the Emirates FA Cup, where they have hosted Premier League powerhouse Manchester United and played Eastleigh twice. The outcome did not live up to expectations in South Wales, but the Exiles played with a strong sense of resolve and defeated the Red Devils 4-2.
Coughlan is in good company in this month’s nominations; Lee Bell (Crewe Alexandra), Karl Robinson (Salford City) and Simon Weaver (Harrogate Town) are among those nominated for the award.
The winners will be announced at 6am on Friday 9th February.
