Huge Blue Devil Target Now Set to Visit UNC:

Duke basketball target Caleb Wilson will watch the Blue Devils and Tar Heels battle next month.

Holy Innocents Episcopal School (Ga.) forward Caleb Wilson has held a Duke basketball offer since July and been on UNC’s wishlist since May. And on Feb. 3, he’ll be in the Tar Heels’ Smith Center for the archrivals’ first clash this season, his father informed recruiting insider Adam Zagoria on Wednesday night.

It’s still to be determined whether the 6-foot-10, 205-pound five-star’s visit to UNC that weekend will be of the unofficial or official variety.

Wilson, No. 4 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, has already taken official visits to Stanford, Kentucky, and Auburn. There’s no word yet on any plans to check out the Blue Devils in Durham, but he hasn’t eliminated them from his recruitment.

Here is a snippet of On3’s scouting report on Wilson:

“Caleb Wilson has a great frame, good length and natural pop. He plays really well in a phone booth, efficient movements in tight spaces, shows the footwork to shake free with the ball in the half court…He is explosive around the basket, has go-to comfort over his left shoulder with patience. He can push the break and plays with pace. He has a vast array of offensive moves, at multiple levels.”

The 2025 Duke basketball offer sheet, which hasn’t seen a commitment or rejection, includes seven other five-star prospects: forwards Cameron Boozer, Koa Peat, and Nate Ament; and guards Cayden Boozer, Meleek Thomas, Brayden Burries, and Jalen Haralson.

Peat and the Boozer twins join Caleb Wilson as the only 2025 targets of both the Blue Devils and Tar Heels.
