“£5m to £10m” – Claim made on Norwich City star amid Pompey stint’

Norwich City’s Abu Kamara faces an uncertain future after his impressive loan spell at Portsmouth.

Abu Kamara thrives on loan at Portsmouth

The goal will be promotion, and the former Huddersfield manager will believe that his team is capable of producing good results in the coming months.

Not simply the players Wagner has at his disposal are performing well; Norwich’s Abu Kamara is thriving this season while on loan at Portsmouth.

The 20-year-old attacker has been a major contributor to Pompey’s progress as they aim to return to the Championship under John Mousinho.
Kamara has featured in 36 games so far, scoring six goals and registering seven assists, whilst his pace and direct style has made him a real threat for the south coast side.

Abu Kamara’s most recent transfer
Due to his success in League One, Kamara has caught the attention of numerous European teams. Previously, rumours said that Brentford, Stoke City, and Bundesliga team Freiburg were among the teams monitoring the attacker.

Since Kamara’s contract at Carrow Road expires in the summer of 2025, now would be a good time to cash in, especially if new terms cannot be worked out with the player.

However, a lot of supporters will want to see him stay with the team and help him become a part of the starting lineup the next season.

Additionally, Zeke Downes, a Norwich City supporter for FLW, clarified that he wants Kamara to stay with the team going ahead and that he would need to pay up to £10 million in order to consider parting ways with the exciting player.

Given that Kamara would be making a significant step up from League One to the Premier League or the Bundesliga, Norwich should hang onto him. Getting associated with the Norwich team seems like a wise next move.

Although he has only played in one season in League One, it is still difficult to assign a value to someone who has performed so well; yet, I would estimate that he is worth between £5 and £10 million. I would hang onto him, particularly since Jonathan Rowe might not stick around.

Abu Kamara’s future

This feels like a huge summer for the youngster, and it will be very interesting to see what happens ahead of next season.

From the perspective of the player, and Norwich, the move to Portsmouth has gone exactly how they would’ve wanted. He has been exposed to first-team football on a regular basis, and his game has developed a lot over the past few months.

He can obviously still get better in some areas, but all things considered, he has demonstrated that he is a player with a lot of promise.

Given his contract circumstances, it appears that Kamara and the club must make a decision. Norwich might have to consider taking out a fresh loan if a new agreement cannot be reached. However, if he signs a contract extension, he can concentrate on his efforts to join the club.
