Four men arrest after Norwich City clash*

Police made 11 arrests on Saturday when more than 27,000 fans – including 2,020 travelling Ipswich Town supporters – were at Carrow Road to see Norwich City beat the Tractor Boys.

The arrests were for a range of offences including criminal damage and antisocial behaviour.

Four people have since been charged including Oliver Liddle, 26, of Aberdare Court in Norwich, who was charged with possession of a pyrotechnic and has been bailed to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on May 15.

Nathan Moore, 33, of Fen Way in Hoveton, was also charged with possession of a pyrotechnic and has been bailed to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on May 14.

Zac Lapworth, 25, of The Green in Beyton, Bury St Edmunds, was charged with throwing a missile in a football ground. He has been bailed to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on June 13.

Tim Brown, 65, of Vane Court in Witham, Essex, was charged with obstructing a police officer and being drunk and disorderly.

He has been bailed to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on May 15.

A further four people were arrested on suspicion of crimes including drug possession, obstructing a police officer and causing harassment.

It is currently unknown if the other three arrests made on the day have resulted in any charges.

A police investigation is ongoing.
