Steve Cooper, the manager of Nottingham Forest, is adamant that Taiwo Awoniyi will overcome his most recent injury setback.
Due to a groyne injury, the Nigerian international is not playing right now.
The 26-year-old is anticipated to be out of commission for around a month.
The striker was also forced to miss Nigeria’s forthcoming friendlies against Mozambique and Saudi Arabia due to the injury.
A similar groyne issue sidelined Awoniyi for a few weeks during the previous season as well.
The attacker came back to lead Nottingham Forest’s comeback to the Premier League.
Cooper believes the striker will perform well once more after recovering from an injury.
