Nottingham Forest are trying to gatecrash the plans of Tottenham by swooping for Radu Dragusin. Nuno Espirito Santo has been drawing up a shortlist of players and it would seem as though he fancies the Romanian.
It’s not the first time that Forest have been targeting Dragusin. He was also in the sights of Steve Cooper during the summer, although the club opted to sign Murillo from Corinthians instead.
It may now be more necessary to acquire a new central defender. Joe Worrall has been linked to a move to West Ham, while Felipe has struggled to stay fit, making just a few appearances.
Moreover, Scott McKenna has drawn some interest from Turkey, and Moussa Niakhate and Willy Boly will both be attending the African Cup of Nations in January.
January is when Forest wants Dragusin.
According to Corriere Dello Sport, Forest has expressed interest in the £20 million-rated defender ahead of Tottenham, who have been linked to him for some time.
It’s obvious that Forest will be considering central defenders during the January transfer window. There is no smoke without fire, as they say, and Dragusin is now once again in the public eye.
The 21-year-old joined Genoa in the summer after leaving Juventus. He has made 20 appearances for the Italian team, but he only participated in four games with the Old Lady.
