Towards the end of the summer window, Arsenal allowed Nuno Tavares to join Nottingham Forest on a loan deal with an option to buy.
After making two substitute appearances in the first two matches, the left-back made his first league start in the Tricky Trees’ league defeat to Manchester City in September.
He was taken off the pitch in the 39th minute due to an injury and hasn’t featured for Nottingham Forest since then. Steve Cooper has left the Arsenal owned player out of the squad in the last six matches and the manager’s decision hasn’t pleased him.
According to Maisfutebol, the 23-year-old is ‘unhappy’ with his current situation at the City Ground and is ‘searching for a solution’ next month.
Last season, the Portuguese fullback was on loan at Marseille, where he scored six goals in 39 games.
He was hoped to extend his winning streak at Nottingham Forest, but it hasn’t happened yet. As a result, the Arsenal manager wishes to sell them in the winter market.
According to Maisfutebol, one of the options being considered is a move to another unidentified Premier League club. They also state that Tavares must obtain permission from Mikel Arteta’s camp in order to switch clubs in January.
