Serhou Guirassy discusses his reasons for not joining the Reds this summer in the most recent Nottingham Forest transfer news.
Serhou Guirassy, who is rumored to be a target for Nottingham Forest, has given his reasons for rejecting a summer transfer to the City Ground.
After making an impression with his current club, VfB Stuttgart, in Germany, the 27-year-old was rumored to be moving to the Reds. He remained put despite intense rumors about his future during the most recent transfer window, and is now being questioned about the possibility of moving to the Premier League.
Guirassy stated that while he did not specifically mention Forest, he would be open to moving to the Premier League in the future. Additionally, he stated emphatically that he wouldn’t mind playing in England at all just as much.
Before their match against Brentford, Nottingham Forest gave an injury update for Tavares, Danilo.
“We (Stuttgart) have a good team, a good coach, and incredible fans,” he said to Bild. As a family, we are really at home in Stuttgart. That is the reason I chose to remain at VfB.
When asked if playing in the top division of English football was his desire, he responded, “Not precisely a dream. But why not, if a transfer to the Premier League is a possibility at some point? But it’s not like I always dream about it.
He has a staggering 10 goals in five Bundesliga games so far this season, three more than Harry Kane of Bayern Munich. If it keeps up, he’ll have no trouble finding suitors during the January transfer window.
