While looking for a man from Rochdale who went missing, a body was discovered.
On July 3, at approximately 12 p.m., Piotr Andzejczak, 25, was last seen at Oldham Hospital.
Police have asked the public for assistance in finding him on several occasions.
This evening (Wednesday, July 24), officers looking for Mr. Andzejczak reported finding a body.
We’ve notified his next of kin.
His death is not thought to have been the subject of any suspicious circumstances.
The coroner has been given a file.
Greater Manchester Police released a picture of Mr Andzejczak last Friday in the hope someone might recognise him.
Officers renewed the appeal on Tuesday as the search continued.
Mr Andzejczak’s sister, Alex, also issued a statement to say their family was become ‘increasingly worried for his safety’.
