Man charged with murder of Oldham mum

Kulsuma Akter was stabbed while pushing a pram in Bradford on Saturday (April 6)

Habibur Masum is accused of killing Kulsuma Akter, a 27-year-old. On Monday, 22 June, the mother from Oldham was fatally stabbed while wheeling a pram in Bradford.

On Wednesday night, April 10, West Yorkshire Police detectives accused 25-year-old Habibur Masum of Burnley’s Leamington Avenue with murder and possessing a bladed weapon.

He has been placed under arrest pending his appearance at Bradford Magistrates Court on Tuesday, June 25.
A 23-year-old man who was detained on Monday in the Cheshire region on suspicion of aiding an offender has been freed on bond.
In Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, four additional males were taken into custody on charges of drug offences and aiding an offender. The males from the West Midlands, ages 23, 26, 28, and 29
