Following an Oldham collision that injured a woman, a man has been taken into custody.
On Monday, July 29, at approximately 7:45 p.m., police were called to Pitt Street, Glodwick, in reference to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
Following the incident, a woman was admitted to the hospital. Greater Manchester Police say her injuries don’t appear to be life-threatening or potentially catastrophic.
A twentysomething man has been taken into custody on charges of reckless driving. Social media users posted video of the incident, showing several police cars and an ambulance at the scene.

“We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Pitt Street, Oldham, at around 7.45pm on July 29,” a Greater Manchester Police spokesperson stated.
“One woman was brought to the hospital with injuries that, at this point, were not thought to be life-threatening or significant. A man in his twenties was taken into custody on charges of reckless driving. There are still enquiries open.”
