Tragedy as missing man who was last seen in Oldham found dead

A deceased man from Leeds who was last seen in Oldham has been reported missing.

Last Sunday, Steven—whose last name the police withheld—had been spotted in the vicinity of Crompton Moor.

However, according to Greater Manchester Police, the 40-year-old was discovered dead on Thursday.

“Sadly, Steven who was missing from Leeds and was last seen around Crompton Moor in Oldham on Sunday was found deceased yesterday (Thursday),” a force spokesperson stated this morning, Friday.

“His family has requested privacy at this time and is receiving support from specialised officers.

“Our officers would like to thank those who helped in sharing our appeal despite the tragic outcome.”
