An older woman passed away in an Oldham nursing home, and the police are asking the public for help in locating her next of kin.
Kate Adam, formerly known as Irene Costello, passed away at the Chadderton Total Care nursing home located on Middlewood Court.
When Ms. Adam passed away, she was 89 years old.
According to the Greater Manchester Police, she is thought to have had two sons who may now reside in Portsmouth, Wantage, and Oxfordshire.
Although the term “next of kin” is not defined in UK law, it is generally understood to refer to the closest relative, which could be a partner, parent, child, or sibling.
