Next week, a significant Oldham road will be partially closed while United Utilities repairs the sewer.

The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 12 and is anticipated to take five days. The northbound carriageway of the A62 Manchester Street will be closed to traffic in a single lane.

The sewer between the intersections of Clowes Street and Drury Lane needs “essential repair work,” according to the water company.
