Following a collision on a roadway in Greater Manchester, a guy in his 20s passed away. At 11:41 p.m. on August 19th, officers were dispatched to Greenacres Road in the Oldham neighbourhood.
According to Greater Manchester Police, the automobile overturned after colliding with two stationary vehicles. Tragically, an emergency services member in his 20s was declared deceased at the site despite their best attempts.
Two men, both in their 20s, have been taken into custody on charges of driving dangerously and causing death. They are still being questioned by police.
Drivers are advised to stay away from the area since Greenacres Road, which is close to the cemetery, has been blocked since this morning. There is an ongoing police investigation, and witnesses are being asked to come forward.
DC Alex Giblin, of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “This is a tragic incident where a young man has lost his life, and our thoughts remain with his family and loved ones. They will be supported by specially trained officers at this distressing time.
While we are making every effort to find answers, I kindly ask anyone with knowledge or who may have seen the incident to come forward and assist us with our investigation. This might be dashcam, CCTV, doorbell, or eyewitness film from the scene. All of this can be used to demonstrate how a young man died in such upsetting circumstances.
