2024 three-star receiver Jeremy Scott announced via social media on Saturday morning that he has officially decommitted from the Ole Miss Rebels.

“After a lot of prayer and several conversations with my family, I have come to the conclusion that it is in my best interest to reopen my recruitment. I am formally announcing my decommitment from Ole Miss.”

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound freak athlete is rated as the No. 151 receiver in the 2024 cycle and the No. 28 player coming out of the state of Mississippi. Scott previously pledged to the Rebels in March.

The Ole Miss Rebels are set to host a pair of four-star recruits from the 2024 cycle this weekend: defensive lineman William Echoles and receiver Dre’lon Miller.

Echoles previously committed to the Rebels in July, but the Alabama Crimson Tide and Nick Saban are campaigning to flip his commitment. This visit will be crucial for Ole Miss, as Echoles’ recruitment will likely go on until December. The 6-foot-3, 300-pound prospect is rated as the No. 12 recruit in the state of Mississippi and the No. 34 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to On3 rankings.

Miller is one of Ole Miss’ newest targets and has been made a priority since he decommitted from the Texas A&M Aggies last Tuesday. The LSU Tigers have made a strong push for the Silsbee, Tex., native, as they currently have a 51.8 percent chance of earning Miller’s pledge, per On3.

The 5-foot-11, 200-pound wideout is rated as the No. 15 recruit in the state of Texas and the No. 16 receiver in the 2024 cycle. This visit will hopefully make the Rebels contenders for the dynamic pass-catcher.

2024 three-star cornerback Deylen Platt announced his top six schools over the weekend and the Ole Miss Rebels made the cut. Platt is down to the Rebels, Louisville Cardinals, USF Bulls, Oregon State Beavers, Wisconsin Badgers, and Illinois Fighting Illini.

According to On3, the Venice, Fla., native is set to take an official visit with the Cardinals later this month. However, On3’s recruiting prediction machine gives the Rebels the best odds of landing Platt’s commitment. Ole Miss currently has a 62.4 percent chance to land the 6-foot-3, 175-pound cornerback.

Per On3 rankings, Platt is rated as the No. 103 cornerback in the 2024 cycle and the No. 135 recruit in the state of Florida.
