Switch NRL star to Super League Drops Massage for Eels Fans…

Before the 2024 season, the centre joins the Saints and dons the renowned number three shirt that has been worn by players like Mal Meninga, Jamie Lyon, Matt Gidley, Kevin Naiqama, and Matt Gidley.

Although it may surprise you to learn that Blake used to be one of the most paid athletes on the planet, he will aim to build on that legacy.

He was really number 68 on the rugby league wealthy list, with a deal that was worth over a million dollars overall and a whopping $650,000 in total compensation.

It’s unclear how much money he makes at St Helens, where Jack Welsby just signed a lucrative new contract, and there are rumours that Lewis Dodd is in line for a similar offer.

Blake is eager for the next challenge.

Speaking on the Saints’ official website, Blake expressed his enthusiasm for the next task, saying, “I can’t wait! As soon as Paul [Wellens] and Mike [Rush] gave me a ring to say it was finished, I couldn’t wait to travel over, especially to a fantastic club like St Helens. The change from heat to cold is something I’m looking forward to!

Coming to St Helens, a team that consistently finishes in the top two or top four, and then pulling off a four-peat is a huge accomplishment, so I’m hoping I can fit in and help us win another one. I can’t wait to come to work after seeing all of the players and strike that they have there.

Blake’s signing is great for the Club and the Betfred Super League, and the player, who was born in Lautoka, has heard a lot about rugby league played in the northern hemisphere from a former Saint.

“I believe that the Super League is improving. I witnessed St Helens defeat Penrith in the World Club Challenge the previous year, and nobody would have predicted it.” The standard of football is getting better and you can see that in the England side that played Tonga.

“I saw the Grand Final where Kevin Naiqama won Man of the Match, and I played with him at Saints, where he was really good. I’m excited because he told me a lot about Super League while we were at the Fiji camp, how unique it is there, and that the Saints are a terrific group of guys.
