3 players might leave Plymouth Argyle this summer

Plymouth Argyle have been dragged into the relegation fight and need an upturn in form if they’re to avoid an immediate League One return.

When Plymouth Argyle returned to the Championship, they were having a respectable season. However, as the season draws to a close, a decline in performance puts them in jeopardy.

With eight games remaining, the Pilgrims are just two points above the drop in the Championship table, sitting in 18th place.

If they are to fall into the bottom three, they must make improvements; if they fall, Home Park may lose some well-known players. In the event of relegation, we have selected three Plymouth Argyle players that could depart.

Morgan Whittaker

It’s possible that Whittaker moves on regardless of how Argyle’s season concludes. But a fall from the second division would virtually guarantee the star winger’s departure.

With 19 goals and eight assists in 42 games in all competitions, the 23-year-old has established himself as one of the league’s most potent wingers. His previous admirers were of the highest calibre, and relegation would alert them.

Brendan Galloway

It has been reported that Galloway is interested in the Championship and that his contract is up in the summer. Relegation may result in the defender’s departure from the team if there were any ways for him to stay in the league.
The Zimbabwean international has gained playing time as a left-sided centre back after a few years plagued by injuries. The Plymouth Argyle player is also capable of playing wing-back or full-back.

Ryan Hardie

Not to be overlooked is the Scottish charm, Hardie. He made an impression in the third division with Plymouth Argyle, and his 32 league games total of 12 goals and 4 assists has shown that he is a competent striker at the Championship level as well.

If Argyle decides to return to League One right away, clubs will probably take an interest in him after that comeback.
