This afternoon (Monday, July 1), drivers on the A38 in Cornwall were advised to expect lengthy delays. A two-vehicle collision at Menheniot resulted in the blockage of the A38.

Highways and the location of the traffic monitoring facility At 1.53 p.m., Inrix initially reported the collision. It read: “A38 Eastbound closed, delays due to accident, two vehicles involved from B3252 to Looe turn off.”
Whether anyone has been hurt is unknown at this time. For more information, emergency services have been notified.
Another incident at Liskeard resulted in the closure of one lane on the A38. “One lane closed due to accident on A38 Eastbound at the B3254,” is the message sent to drivers. Traffic is handling it nicely.”
