Interiancekivell spoke of his delight after winning a “highly pressurised” relegation scrapm Plymouth Argyle manager Kevin N against Rotherham United on Friday.
After manager Ian Foster was fired on April 1st, Nancekivell and director of football Neil Dewsnip assumed temporary leadership of the team for the second time this season. In his three months in command, the former England Under 20s manager could only muster three league victories.
The Pilgrims needed all three points badly as they entered The New York Stadium one point above the bottom three after a run of just one victory in their previous twelve games. Despite the strain and the nervous attention of the division prior to their games today, Plymouth managed to win with a goal from Bali Mumba.
For Rotherham United, who have only won four games this season, the outcome effectively confirmed their relegation back to League One, something that had been expected for a few weeks. With hopes of making a quick recovery, Leam Richardson and his team may now start preparing for life in the third tier next season.
