Preston North End agreed second bid to sign €2m

West Brom has made another offer for the midfield player that Preston North End is interested in.
Isaac Price, a midfield player for Standard Liege, is apparently the subject of a second offer from West Bromwich Albion.

Preston North End is interested in the former Everton player, who is a full Northern Ireland international, but West Brom has decisively gained an advantage in the competition – at least for the time being.

Price, who boldly left Goodison Park on a free transfer last July, made 28 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League, with one goal and two assists. After only three appearances for Everton in his previous campaign, it was a respectable return in his first official senior football season.
West Brom’s interest was initially revealed by Belgian writer Sacha Tavolieri, who asserts that the Baggies submitted a second proposal after their initial one was turned down. It remains to be seen how much money each proposition is worth.

It was reported last week that Price could be available for around €2 million (£1.7 million), so it’s implied that Albion are coming short of that figure.

West Brom are determined to sign Standard Liege midfielder Isaac Price.
The 20-year-old would become the club’s fourth addition of the summer transfer season if a breakthrough is made and he signs. For a total of just £500,000, West Brom has already acquired three new players: Malian midfielder Ousmane Diakite, veteran goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith, and Norwegian centre-back Torbjorn Heggem.
Although there isn’t enough money to make more purchases, Okay Yokuslu and Brandon Thomas-Asante, who are set to leave the team for roughly £3 million and £1.5 million, respectively, will add a little more to the bankroll. Carlos Corberan will need to carry out his customary savvy commercial dealings.
