Preston manager makes a bad statement by summarizing Leicester City in two terms.

LeicestershireLive brings you the latest Leicester City news asprovides his judgment on the Foxes’ defeat at the King Power Stadium.

Preston manager Ryan Lowe believes Leicester City are in a “different class” than the rest of the Championship. And Lowe is sure that two-goal Kieran Dewsbury-Hall belongs in the Premier League.

Enzo Maresca’s Leicester City beat Preston 3-0 at the King Power Stadium on Wednesday night, returning to the top of the Championship. After Kelechi Iheanacho made it 2-0, the City midfielder started the scoring on the hour mark and added their third on 90 minutes. The Foxes lead the table by two points after winning nine of their first ten games.

It is the ideal reaction to their relegation from the Premier League last season, as they seek a quick return to the top division. While Lowe believed the scoreline was unfair to his squad, he admits Leicester are the greatest club in t

he division, referring to them as “a Premier League team in the Championship” as he echoed similar sentiments from other managers.

“It was definitely harsh,” he admitted. “I thought we were fantastic for 50 minutes or so until they scored the first goal, which was disappointing on our part – we went to ground when we could have probably intercepted it.” But Leicester has some talent; they are a different class, and we neutralized that early on – we caught them off guard a little.

“We didn’t have a lot of possession, but I can’t knock the effort.” We were on our feet a little late in the game, which was to be expected. We had the finest chance in the first half – Duane had a fantastic chance that went just past the post – but they are a Premier League team playing in the Championship.

“In Dewsbury-Hall, they have a player who should not be playing at this level.” But we weren’t afraid of them. We admired them. They are average people, yet they have different attributes than the majority of the Championship.”
