Rangers Charity Foundation pledge huge amount of money.

A substantial sum of money has been donated by the Rangers Charity Foundation to UNICEF in order to support children and their families.

The Ibrox-based charity declared that it would be contributing £25,000 to the Children’s Emergency Fund of UNICEF UK. The funds will be used to purchase therapeutic food that is ready to use, helping to treat hundreds of children.

It follows in the wake of UNICEF using the Children’s Emergency Fund in recent months to support over four million children displaced by the war in Ukraine, aid children and families affected by the September earthquake in Morocco, and now offer immediate aid in the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the larger State of Palestine.

The UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) CEO Jon Sparkes expressed gratitude to the organisation for its donation.

Chief executive of the Rangers Charity Foundation Connal Cochrane continued, saying, “Since 2008, the Foundation has collaborated with UNICEF, the preeminent children’s organisation in the world.

We are honoured to contribute on behalf of the Rangers family to UNICEF’s efforts to support children and families in need all over the world. UNICEF is a longstanding international partner that is always there in times of crisis.
