Rangers warned over ‘unsporting’ conduct by UEFA

The European football governing body have warned the Ibrox club over behaviour.

UEFA has warned Rangers over the behaviour of BALL BOYS during a Europa League match.

The behaviour of ball boys on the side of the pitch during last month’s victory over Sparta Prague, Philippe Clement’s first home game in command of the team in Europe, has alerted the European football regulatory body, which has placed the Ibrox team on notice. The Light Blues won the match 2-1 thanks to goals from Todd Cantwell and Danilo. However, UEFA has since issued a warning to the Glasgow team about the behaviour of the “unsporting” ball boys during the match.

As per Article 11 of UEFA regulations, Rangers were not subject to any new fines. Additionally, clubs, along with their players, officials, and members, are required to adhere to the principles of ethical conduct, loyalty, integrity, and sportsmanship, and to respect the Laws of the Game and UEFA’s statutes, regulations, directives, and decisions.

Next Thursday, Rangers will play Aris Limassol at home. The following month, they will travel to Real Betis to conclude their Europa League campaign.
