Reading FC heat up with relegation battle as key men affected.

The Royals’ scheduled Tuesday, April 16 trip to the Memorial Ground to play Bristol Rovers has been postponed due to five international call-ups.

Eleven of the twelve scheduled League Two games are still scheduled, while three third-tier games are still slated for this Saturday.

Two of the three League One games on Saturday are relegation matches, one of which pits two teams beneath the Royals against one another for survival.

Burton Albion, in 19th place, sits three points behind Reading, while Port Vale, in 23rd place, is hosted.

The Brewers, who have only won one of their previous 15 games, would tie the Ruben Selles club for most points and games played with a victory.

Playoff-chasing Stevenage is hosted by bottom club Carlisle United, who are hoping to close the distance from the current 16 to safety.
The next opponents of Reading are Northampton Town at Sixfields on Good Friday, where they take on promotion-chasing Derby County.

Although they are both idle this weekend, Cheltenham Town and Cambridge United—two clubs trailing Reading in the standings—have games in hand over the Royals.
