Reason Why You Should Join March Before We Dai”

Why You Should Join The ‘March Before We Dai’ This Saturday

For Adam, this Saturday’s pre-game march from Blue Collar to the SCL is vital for keeping the pressure up on a sale and highlighting Reading’s plight.

We had considered a march as a possible protest when the Sell Before We Dai campaign began.

The fact that the majority of people could participate in it is crucial to us since we believe that all Reading supporters should have their voices heard.

Not everyone will agree with every protest. Not everyone was a fan of the “sit in” that followed Peterborough United, and some people were reluctant to participate in the tennis ball protests against Burton Albion and Bolton Wanderers.

And that’s perfectly acceptable. You are not a weak Dai Out supporter just because you did not participate in one or both of these protests. Nobody ought to be assessed.

It appears that the great majority of the fan base is eager for Dai Yongge to sell the team, which is encouraging since it indicates that we are in agreement.

Regarding a march, a lot of supporters also appear to be in agreement, with several even proposing it as a possibility before it was officially announced.

However, why is this a well-liked concept? There are numerous explanations.

In the first place, it allows supporters to personalise the movement. You will be given the opportunity to express yourself with a placard of your own.

Although there will be some pre-made placards accessible (you can view these designs on the SBWD social media), you still have the chance to share your message.

It’s an opportunity to once again demonstrate solidarity. Let’s demonstrate to Dai that this club will not go out of business. We’ll make sure he doesn’t do to Beijing Renhe what he did.

As a “private” person, Dai won’t be happy about being in the spotlight once more as a result of this march and the media attention that will follow.

Maintaining that pressure may help to expedite a sale; given the club’s current situation, a suitable buyer must be found quickly.

It hurts to think that our team might not exist anymore, but I’m growing more and more convinced that the fans’ opposition to his careless ownership will push him to the point where he’s willing to sell at a lower amount than he has previously demanded.

While Luton Town was able to remove John Gurney from the Hatters, the supporters may not have the same legal power to remove Dai from the team, we can still make a significant difference.

Huge congratulations to all of the fans for their involvement in the campaign; nevertheless, we still have some work to do this weekend.

The danger facing our club is the same as it was during the Thames Valley Royals march in 1983. Avoid regretting your decision to skip the 2023 March by visiting Blue Collar on Saturday at 12 p.m.

The march will garner greater attention the larger it is. Raise your voice, communicate your message, and participate in a march to protect

our great club.

We hope to see you there!
