Rotherham United developed unusual injury Coventry City clash’

Peltier is an experienced player to have in the squad for Rotherham and Richardson will have a decision to make regarding who to bring into the side in his place if he is ruled out for tonight.

The 37-year-old was the captain against Sheffield Wednesday but went off just after half-time.

He has made 20 appearances in all competitions so far this season and has scored twice. His contract at the New York Stadium expires at the end of June and the Millers will need to decide whether to hand him a new deal or let him leave for nothing.

Peltier has been a member of his current team since 2022. He has previously played for teams including Middlesbrough, Leeds United, Cardiff City, and Huddersfield Town.

Although he kept them in the Premier League last season, it is highly likely that Rotherham will drop back into the division this year.

With 11 games remaining, they are 19 points from safety and at the bottom of the standings.

The Millers are devoid of quality within their ranks and have only won three games this season. Next up for them is Coventry, who have dropped their previous two games on the trot.

Five points outside the playoffs in ninth place are Mark Robins’ team.
