Wolves have recalled academy graduate right-back Dexter Lembikisa from a loan spell at Rotherham United.
The Jamaica international, 20, spent the first half of the campaign at the Championship’s basement boys, where he was a regular feature.
Lembikisa made 27 appearances at the AESSEAL New York Stadium and scored once in a 2-1 September success over Norwich in his first loan spell away from Molineux.
Wolves have exercised the option to recall the full-back midway through the campaign. Lembikisa has made two senior starts for Wolves, and four appearances in all.
Numerous other Championship teams have reportedly expressed interest in signing the highly-regarded right-back, and reports have indicated that Wolves is thinking about giving him another loan.
Prior to going on loan, Lembikisa’s manager at Wolves, Steve Davis, stated that he is “more than capable of doing well in the Championship.”
born in Gloucestershire Lembikisa joined Wolves at the age of thirteen. Through his mother, he is eligible to represent Jamaica. He made his senior international debut in March of last year and later participated in the CONCACAF Gold Cup. He is wearing seven caps.
Leam Richardson was recently appointed by loan club Rotherham, who are seven points from safety. The move came about following the dismissal of former manager Matt Taylor, who had made the full-back his first loan recruit of the previous summer.
