Air ambulance and emergency services attend ‘incident’ in Royton

An air ambulance was spotted in Royton yesterday as emergency services attended an ‘incident’ at a home.

Residents claim there was a huge presence of emergency services, including fire, police, an ambulance and an air ambulance in Royton at around 4pm yesterday (Monday, September 2).

Video footage shows an air ambulance was flying overhead and reportedly landed on Middleton Road, towards the Horton Arms pub.

The North West Air Ambulance Charity confirmed it was called to “an incident” in Oldham.

A spokesperson for the charity said: “H75 responded.

“Unfortunately, we have no further information at this time.”

Witnesses claim the incident involved a home with four emergency vehicles in attendance around Mill Lane and Cecil Street.

Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue said it was called to Mill Lane but “didn’t take any action”.

Police and the North West Ambulance Service have also been approached for comment.
