By pledging his future to the Super League team, CADE CUST is expected to significantly help Salford Red Devils.
League Express is aware that Cust’s one-year option at Salford Community Stadium will be exercised, guaranteeing his stay with the Red Devils through the 2025 Super League season. Cust was formerly a playmaker for the Manly Sea Eagles.
Cust, who signed a one-year contract to leave the Wigan Warriors, has adapted to Salford with ease and formed a productive partnership with seasoned player Marc Sneyd in the halves.
Cust made 40 appearances for the Cherry and Whites during his time with Wigan, winning the League Leaders’ Shield, the Super League championship, and the Challenge Cup in his rookie season in 2022.
After making his Manly debut in 2019, the 25-year-old played 27 games for the Sea Eagles, scoring nine tries, before joining Wigan in the Super League in advance of the 2022 campaign.
