The Marine Corp released the identities of all five Marines killed when their CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter went down in the mountains close to San Diego on Tuesday.
Lieutenant Donovan Davis, age 21, of Olathe, Kansas; Sergeant Alec Langen, age 23, of Chandler, Arizona; Captain Benjamin Moulton, age 27, of Emmett, Idaho; Captain Jack Casey, age 26, of Dover, New Hampshire; and Captain Miguel Nava, age 28, of Traverse City, Michigan are the five individuals who have been identified.
All of the young men were assigned to the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing at Miramar, specifically to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron 361, Marine Aircraft Group 16.
