Man ‘murdered’ in Seacroft, Leeds, after being left for dead

West Yorkshire Police have cordoned off Rosgill Drive in Seacroft after a man was killed in the street

In Seacroft, a man lost his life following a violent assault on Wednesday night.

West Yorkshire Police have opened a murder inquiry following the tragic death of a man who was the victim of a major assault in Leeds’ Seacroft neighbourhood last night, June 15. In relation to the event, three persons have been placed under arrest.


At 9:05 p.m. on Thursday, police were alerted to complaints of an assault on Rosgill Drive, Seacroft, Leeds. When they arrived, they discovered a man in his 40s, unconscious, laying in the middle of the road. He suffered severe head injuries and was sent by ambulance to the hospital, where he passed away this afternoon.

Three men, two aged 38 and one aged 36, have been arrested in connection with the incident and have been taken into police custody. A scene is currently in place in Rosgill Drive as officers establish exactly what happened.
