Police have launched a murder investigation after the death of a man found in the middle of the road with head injuries.
West Yorkshire Police stated on Monday afternoon that the man, who had been the victim of a major assault in Seacroft, had passed away in the hospital. They were contacted at approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday regarding assault allegations. Officers discovered the unconscious person lying in the middle of Rosgill Drive when they arrived at the scene.
The man, who was in his forties, had severe head injuries and was sent by ambulance to the hospital. On Monday , officers stayed on the scene to continue their investigation into what transpired.
