Three arrests after man assaulted in Seacroft dies in hospital

Following the death of a guy who was found unconscious in the street, police launched a murder inquiry.

On Thursday, June 28 at around 10:20  a.m., officers were summoned to complaints of an attack in the Seacroft neighbourhood of Leeds.

With severe head injuries, the man, who appeared to be in his 40s, was discovered on Rosgill Drive.

He was brought by ambulance to the hospital, where he passed away

Police have arrested two 38-year-old men and one 36-year-old man in connection with the incident.

They are in policy custody while officers carry out enquiries.

Det Ch Insp Matthew Holdsworth from West Yorkshire Police said: “Detectives are piecing together the circumstances that led to this tragic death.
