The Bosnian is the subject of interest from Napoli at the moment and it’s believed the defender is open to moving to the Italian side.

Wilder recently gave Ahmedhodzic the captain’s armband, although his season has been plagued by injuries and other troubles.

According to The Sun, United are ready to sell Ahmedhodzic for the appropriate price.

Napoli and Atalanta are reportedly interested in the defender, who is willing to move abroad.

According to the report, Blades manager Chris Wilder will approve the trade if he receives money to spend in return.

With that money, it’s said Wilder wants to replace three positions, with two in defence and one as a goalkeeper at the at least.

Mason Holgate is thought to be one of the players close to joining, with sources indicating he was undergoing a physical last week before the deal fell through.

Ivo Grbic is also set to sign with United and become their new custodian.

The Blades face West Ham United today, hoping for a massive three points that will put them back in the hunt for survival.

Wilder has choices with a more or less completely fit squad to choose from following the mini-break this month.
