Traffic has been brought to a standstill
A little after five o’clock in the evening, South Yorkshire Supertram announced on X that there would be delays in its tram services because of an emergency road closure on Bradfield Road in Hillsborough caused by firemen.
South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service has been contacted for further details, but it is believed that the car is the source of the mayhem.

There are reportedly additional South Yorkshire Police present as well. The number of casualties is unknown at this time.

AA At the moment, traffic is clogging up nearby routes like Penistone Road, Stannington Road, Holme Lane, Middlewood Road, and Langsett Road.
