severe injury Serious injury sustained by brow starlet while on loan at Doncaster Rovers
When he was playing for Doncaster Rovers, highly-regarded Sheffield Unted prodigy Louie Marsh was stretchered off, dealing a severe setback to what should have been his breakout season.
During his loan side’s Tuesday night game against Mansfield Town, the loanee reportedly sustained a suspected fractured arm, according to the Doncaster Free Press.
After an innocent aerial challenge in the first half, Marsh landed awkwardly and was carried to the hospital on a stretcher.
After the injury, Rovers manager Grant McCann said, “It doesn’t look great,” but he didn’t go further.
McCann continued, “Seeing something like that on a football pitch is not nice.” “I hope Louie’s family is with him and supporting him today as I know some of them were at the game.”
In Marsh’s ninth game for the team, Rovers ultimately lost 3-2. In that time, Marsh has only scored once.
